    Description

    This is an early indenture deed poll document from 1814 on old parchment type paper for land in Longswamp Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.  The document measures about 22 1/2 inches wide by about 16 1/2 inches high and folds up to about 6 inches high by 7 1/2 inches wide.  The top border has a wavy security cut.  Its hand written on old parchment type paper.  The document is for an "equal half part of 42 acres 90 perches in Longswamp Township, Berks County" going from John Weiss of Lehigh County to Reuben Trexler (Ironmaster) of Berks County.  62 Pounds and 10 shillings changed hands during the transaction in "gold and silver money".  Nice, original early handwritten document with clear signatures and mostly clear writing.  Official Berks County seals are on the document as well.  The deed poll shows some typical wear and handling from age with some tears at the folds.  An early and original 1814 document from an important time period in the history of Longswamp Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.  Fast 1 day shipping.  Low opening bid.
