1928 Cadillac Brochure with 11 Color Plates -- Magnificent Large Format & Rare!

, extraordinarily rare portfolio of Cadillac cars issued exclusively for the German market in 1928.  The portfolio includes a folder entitled “Honor Roll of Cadillac Owners” printed on heavy textured cream paper and listing  dozens of members of the royal houses of Europe, leaders of industry, nobility and celebrities.   Inside the portfolio are 11 (out of the original 12) gorgeous profile renderings in color of various Cadillac models on the same heavy textured paper as the outer folder.  In the center bottom margin of each sheet is a tiny embossed Cadillac crest.  Perhaps the most lavish and rare of all the pieces of export literature created by Cadillac for the European market before WW2.  This item is probably unique, or among a handful of existing examples that survived in Germany during the war.  It was not known to Solley, Tuthill or the authors of the Cadillac database.
The portfolio is in good shape, with no markings, water stains or other noticeable blemishes.  There is just the slight color variation, minor scuffs, corner bumps/ creases, and signs of wear one would expect in a 90 year old paper item.
