    RAILROAD MAP OF THE UNITED STATES

    Nicely detailed railroad map of the entire United States, ca. 1880.  State of Florida very little settlements, Miami not yet named. [ that sort of helps date this map].  The very special part of this map is the western portions.  Dakota still a territory, the Indian Territory [ later Oklahoma]. Large sections of Texas remains with very little settlements.  A number of famous Indian territories named, shown, etc.
    Map published on thin paper stock with a few edge repairs. Folded as issued. Map published on its on, not from an atlas. No odors. Measures about 12.5" x 18"
