  • Condition: This block has standard bore, new cam bearings, soft plugs. The bores measure 4.0015" to 4.0038", a bit loose on 2 holes with original style pistons. Been stored for 20 years so needs good hot soapy water bath and blow dry.

    Description

    This block is from a 1962 300hp, automatic transmission passenger car application based on the front pad code; FOIIISB, the SB designates pass car with auto, and date code A52, January 5th, 1962. It could be left at this bore size with a little loose fit for the original style pistons in a couple holes I assume most folks would rather go .030" over and get their sizing perfect. It was redone almost twenty years ago and parked in my garage ever since. The shop I used hot tanked it, replaced the cam bearings and all soft plugs and honed it. Buyer will need to pay and arrange for trucking the block from my location. I can supply a small pallet at no charge. Should weigh less than 200 lbs. with pallet.
