    529-20   A fantastic magazine completely devoted to the American Indian.  The magazines name is "The Mentor" dated March 1921 (99 years old!!).  He is a list of the stories in this magazine,  The First Families of America by George Bird Grinnell with photos & prints (The Hunter, An Old Apache, Medicine man of the Blackfoot tribe, Arapaho Indian Dancer, the blanket maker, Tox-e-lox and a-lom-pum Cayuse twins, The basket weaver, a young mother of the hills, the flour stone, the council, Caopa boy, the Cradle, the Hearth, Caopa man, Companions of the lonesome trail, in the land of the sky blue water, she gets your number, The appeal to the Great Spirit, The land of his father, a Madonna of the plains, Far from landlords and profiteers, in Natures temple, Sioux Chief in war garb & Before the day of the flivver, A hot Trail, An Oasis in the bad lands, Bad weather in Apacheland, The old well at Acoma, The Indian at home,The ceremony of the Scalps, & the end o the trail).  The centerfold is "The Indian in Sculpture" with photos of (The Sun Vow, The Destiny of the Red Man, Indian Warrior, Pocahontas, Black Hawk, The Indian hunter, The destiny of the red Man, Sacagawea & the Medicine Man).  Other article "Columbus called them Indians", "What's in an Indian name?", "Indian life through the lens by Edward S. Curtis".   A great magazine and it is hard to believe it is 99 years old!!!   The magazine measures 7" x 10" and is 40 pages.
    The condition is good, age dirt and cover edge and corner wear, there is one 3/4" tear in front cover, pages tight -
