Offered is this fine representation of the Imperial German Colony Kamerun Wappen. These type patches and insignia are very rare in original form. This is a reproduction. The Germans did have colonies at one time that were lost after the defeat of WWI. These colonies though not comparable to the British or French were important symbols of a unified Germanys desire to be a major playor in the world theatre and also used as a justification for the expansion of the Kaiserliche.
