  • Condition: This 120-year-old book is in very nice condition. It has clean covers that show no major damage such as corner bumps, creases, etc. Wear is limited to a small bit of fraying to the cloth spine cover at the top of the spine, and rubbing to the cover edges. Clean interior with no markings or soiling. The fore-edge and bottom edge are rough cut, and the gold to the top of the page edges is worn. The only damage to pages is to the illustrations page that has a large tear repaired with archival tape. No cracks to hinges. Binding remains tight and square. A very nice copy of this rare book.
