    Description

Operation Desert Storm Mine Damage On The USS Tripoli 8 x 12 Photo
    All
photographs are processed at a professional photo lab and have standard white borders unless otherwise stated.  We DO NOT sell desktop printer, discount chain or kiosk processed  photos.
Here we have an 8 x 12 photo showing a view of the damage inflicted on the amphibious assault ship USS TRIPOLI (LPH-10) by an Iraqi mine that the ship struck while serving as a mine-clearing platform in the northern Persian Gulf during Operation Desert Storm. The TRIPOLI, shown in dry dock for repairs, was able to continue operations after damage control crews stopped the flooding caused by the explosion. The original image dated to February 1, 1991, Bahrain.
