    Description

    Presented today is this vintage Plains Indian Beaded crown, or
    tiara
    . It comes from an estate of a dear, departed friend who was a respected lecturer, teacher and museum curator. She was part Cheyenne, and lectured and demonstrated extensively on Plains Indian cultures. Also, in the 1960's, she
    traveled the northern plains on the Pow Wow circuit, participating in dances, either singly or with a dance troupe. i believe this tiara dates from that time. The beadwork is in excellent condition, and the leather  is strong and supple. They appear to have been worn at the most just a couple of times.  Bid with confidence, for as you all know, if the winner is unsatisfied for ANY reason i will immediately return the full purchase price, including return shipping.
