Stylish Vintage Mid-Century European Sterling Silver Celtic Knot Cufflinks
A stylish pair of silver coin cufflinks made in Germany around the 1960s by
Franz Eligius Blachian who was famous for making high-quality antique reproduction jewelry in the 1950s and 60s
. The pieces feature antique coin reproductions in 835 silver mounted in a round silver frame with a scalloped rim. On the reverse the pieces have Rolo chains with T-Bars adorned with ball finials.
Very good vintage condition with very minor patina according to age which can be easily polished away if desired.
These stylish pieces measure 3/4" in diameter and weigh 10.4 grams. Stamped "835" for a common European silver standard of 83.5% silver and carrying Blachian's designer mark "BAS" (
