A walking out dress peak cap for officer ranks of
Leib-Garde-Husaren-Regiment,
raised in 1815, based in Potsdam.
The Kaiser was personal commander in chief of this regiment. The second honorary commander of the regiment was King Wilhelm II. of Württemberg. The cap has both cockades, cap is of fine red doeskin, dark blue band, all edges piped yellow. This was one of the favorite regiments of the Kaiser, and he often wore this uniform.
